Arrival information
By air: Tallinn is easily accessible by plane. Tallinn airport is located only 4 km from the city centre and can be reached by taxi or public bus service. Bus no. 2 leaves the airport for the city centre and port every 20 minutes, and operates from 7 AM until midnight. The price is 15 EEK; tickets can be bought from the driver. The airport bus stop is located in front of the departure hall. The downtown bus stop is located on Laikmaa Street, between the Tallink Hotel and the large Viru Centre, attached to the Sokos Hotel Viru. A Taxi stand is located in front of the airport. The fare from the airport to the city centre is about 80 EEK.
By sea: There is a regular ferry service between Tallinn and Helsinki (operating several times a day) and between Tallinn and Stockholm (operating daily). Ferry terminals are located close to the city centre and in the vicinity of the symposium venue. Bus no. 2 departs from the port's A-terminal for the city centre and airport approximately every 20 minutes from 7 am until midnight. The price is 15 EEK.
A taxi from the terminal to the city centre costs about 60-100 EEK.
